Great to meet you!

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to managing everything on your own. I work with adults, including many caregivers who are balancing a lot and may feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure how to prioritize themselves while caring for others.

I’ve supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, and parenting stress.

I also bring extensive experience working with children and adolescents (ages 4–21), which allows me to support parents with a deeper understanding of child and adolescent development. This helps caregivers better understand their child’s behavior and feel more confident in how they respond at home.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to help you build practical tools for managing stress, emotions, and relationships.

I also draw from approaches such as Internal Family Systems, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and relational and person-centered therapies to explore deeper patterns, strengthen self-understanding, and support meaningful, lasting change.

My work is grounded in a culturally sensitive, strength-based, and trauma-informed perspective. I tailor our work together to fit your needs—whether you’re looking for structured tools, deeper exploration, or a combination of both. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to move forward with more clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and not judged. We’ll start by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to get out of it, at a pace that feels right for you.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and any patterns you may be noticing in your thoughts, emotions, or relationships. This helps me get a full picture of what’s going on and how I can best support you.

We’ll also begin identifying your goals for therapy—whether that’s managing anxiety, improving relationships, navigating parenting challenges, or feeling more balanced in your day-to-day life.
