Great to meet you!

When it feels like you're living with a roommate instead of a partner, the circular arguments and heavy silences can leave you both feeling exhausted and misunderstood. I am Audra LeBlanc, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Counselor with over 20 years of experience helping couples break these "stuck" patterns and find their way back to each other. Whether you are navigating the strain of chronic illness, the fallout of addiction, or a simple loss of connection, my passion is helping you move out of blame and into a space where you both feel seen again. I feel privileged to help my clients achieve their goals and improve their lives by identifying the underlying wounds and fears that trigger conflict.

I believe that healthy relationships are the foundation of our well-being, but they require a new way of communicating that prioritizes understanding over being "right." My extensive background in both mental health and addiction allows me to bring a deep perspective to couples who are also managing individual challenges like anxiety or depression. I want my clients to feel safe and empowered during their time with me, knowing they have an experienced advocate for their relationship's health. Outside of the office, I focus on my own personal wellness and balance to ensure I can show up fully and present for the couples I serve.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical and relational, blending several evidence-based methods—including Emotionally Focused, Attachment-based, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—to help you slow down conflict. We won't just talk about your problems; we will look beneath the surface to explore the thoughts, emotions, and childhood patterns that shape how you show up in your relationship today. I hope that my clients will be able to positively grow while working together by creating healthier patterns of behavior and responding to each other with more genuine understanding.

I offer 90-minute sessions specifically designed for couples, ensuring we have the time to actually make progress rather than just scratching the surface. By combining clinical depth with concrete communication tools, I help you and your partner move away from defensiveness and toward vulnerability. Clients should expect to feel heard and supported throughout our time together as we collaboratively build a more resilient and connected partnership.

What you can expect from me

our first session is a low-pressure opportunity for us to connect and for me to hear the unique story of your relationship. We’ll discuss what specifically brought you in, the goals you both have for therapy, and what you’d like to see change in your daily interactions. My priority is to create a safe, neutral space where both partners feel equally heard and respected from the very beginning.

We will talk through how our sessions will work and identify the initial areas where you need the most support. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history as a couple, but there is no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re comfortable with. By the end of our first meeting, my goal is for you to leave with a clearer sense of direction and the confidence that there is a realistic path back to the connection you once shared.
