Audrea Herrera

Prior to becoming an LPC, I was a Pre-K Teacher, an Elementary School Counselor and currently a Mental Health counselor for a local school district . I graduated with a Bachelor's from SouthWest Texas State University and a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Lamar University at Beaumont. I specialize in working with young children, adolescents through young adults in school type related issues such as anxiety, depression, life changes, grief and trauma.

It is very important to me to provide a safe and supportive space where my clients can feel comfortable sharing their story. I feel this beginning stage is very important in the therapeutic relationship.

The first session with my client will begin with introductory items and discussing the therapeutic process. Followed by identifying what the client hopes to achieve from therapy. Together, we will establish goals and work towards making that happen.
