Great to meet you!

As a therapist who has worked extensively with engineers, and a co-author of Decompile Your Mind: An Engineer’s Guide to Thoughts and Emotions, I have developed a particular interest in helping analytical, high-achieving individuals understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in genuine curiosity about your experiences, strengths, and goals. I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, engineers, and college students—people who may experience the world in unique ways and face pressures related to academics, work, identity, relationships, or life transitions. I recognize that no two people think, learn, or process emotion in the same way, so I tailor therapy to your needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

My goal for the first session is to get to know one another. I share about myself and my approach to therapy. I learn about you, your goals, and your experience with therapy. From there, we co-create an action plan for how to approach therapy together. Often, it can be helpful to leave the first session with one tangible insight or goal to implement between sessions.

Starting therapy can be a nerve-wracking process, so my hope is that you will leave the first appointment feeling more at ease.
