Hi, I'm Audrey, over the last 9 years I have dedicated my professional life to therapy and mental health. I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2023 with my masters. I am an a trauma specialist and an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR therapist and I am working towards being EMDR certified (kind of like getting a master's degree in EMDR). I have worked in private and group practice, the agency and school settings previously.
My focus is helping you build skills and then diving into the depths of trauma or fear. Most clients that I see benefit from learning some new skills to help stay grounded in this and then after a month or so we can start to dig deep!
Sessions with me may actually feel very heavy handed with the skill or activity we do, which your insurance loves. We will always have some sort of activity or skill to talk about, this may take 2-minutes or it may take 45, it all just depends! Don't worry though, I still give you time to discuss what's bothering you and then hopefully you leave with some new tools to use too.
