Great to meet you!

As a retired U.S. Navy Sailor, I’m deeply familiar with how both military and civilian life can contribute to trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression. With more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals impacted by mental health concerns, domestic violence, and sexual assault, I help clients make sense of how trauma, chronic stress, and anxiety can leave them feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or stuck. When self-defeating thoughts stack up alongside everyday responsibilities, it can be hard to know where to begin. You don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to support you, help you build insight and practical skills, strengthen your coping tools, and take meaningful steps forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and tailored to your needs, your pace, and your goals. Depending on what you’re working through, I may draw from Adlerian, Gestalt, Anger Management, Attachment Theory, coaching, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Humanistic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Holistic and Mindfulness-Based approaches, Harm Reduction, Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Above all, my work is person-centered, which means we focus on what matters most to you. Healing is a continuous process, and even small steps can create real, lasting changes, especially when you’re supported along the way.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together in a way that feels respectful, supportive, and grounded in empathy. My goal is to offer a space where you can feel heard, understood, and not judged. Because every person’s story is different, your goals and the strategies, skills, and techniques we use will be personalized to you. If you’re ready to begin, or if you’re simply curious about what support could look like, I welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
