Hi there!

I'm a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for adolescents and adults. My background includes more than three years of experience in inpatient psychiatry, caring for children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health conditions. I have a particular interest in ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and helping people navigate life's challenges. Having lived in several countries and spent the past decade working in healthcare with people from diverse backgrounds in the United States, I've developed a deep appreciation for each person's unique experiences, culture, and perspective. I'm fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

I believe the best psychiatric care begins with listening. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and involved in every treatment decision. I take a collaborative, individualized approach that combines thoughtful medication management with practical strategies to help you reach your goals. When appropriate and if you're interested, I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques into our sessions, as combining medication management with CBT often leads to better outcomes.

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you as a whole person—not just your symptoms. We'll talk about what brought you to treatment, your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and values. My hope is that you'll feel heard and understood and that you'll leave with a clear understanding of the next steps. I encourage questions throughout the process and believe the best outcomes come from working together as a team.
