Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Austin Dance, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you should feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward your goals.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University and have experience providing therapy in outpatient, private practice, intensive outpatient, and behavioral health settings. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, trauma, relationship difficulties, stress, self-esteem challenges, and major life transitions.
My approach combines evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy. I tailor treatment to each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
I have a special interest in helping clients process past experiences, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and develop a healthier understanding of themselves. Whether you are working through a difficult transition, managing overwhelming emotions, healing from trauma, or simply looking to better understand yourself, therapy can provide a space to explore, grow, and create lasting change.
My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself while developing the tools needed to move forward. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you take steps toward greater clarity, confidence, and well-being.
