Great to meet you!

Thanks for your consideration in working with me! I'm Austin, a licensed therapist specializing in diagnosing and treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction and more.

I work with adults, couples and teen clients who want to gain self awareness in order to make better choices and reduce unnecessary suffering.

After an internship at the Antioch University Counseling Center, I worked in inpatient and outpatient settings, group practices and a site for teens before starting my own private practice.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is laid back and conversational, but can become more structured depending on what's called for. Clients have described me as warm, helpful, caring and insightful. Clients appreciate how we focus on understanding the source of feelings so we can address problems directly and ultimately build an enjoyable life.

I'm here to partner with you on your goals, while offering an environment where we can explore thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.

What you can expect from our first session

During our initial session, we'll take a deep dive into your core concerns and work together to make a plan that addresses those concerns. Most of my clients see rapid improvement in the first 6 weeks then sustained gradual improvement over time.

You can expect to take away a better understanding of who you are and the drivers of behavior, attribution of meaning to experience and a resonant explanation for how your suffering came to be. In other words, you'll take with you more self compassion.
