Great to meet you!

Maybe you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that are becoming harder to manage. You may be struggling in your relationships, carrying the effects of past experiences, or finding that the ways you learned to cope just aren’t working as well anymore. Even if you’re pretty “self-aware” and understand what’s going on intellectually, it can be incredibly frustrating to know why you do something and still feel unable to change it. Annoyingly, sometimes insight alone isn’t enough.

When that builds over time, it can spill into our relationships, confidence, motivation, and ability to be present. We can find ourselves overthinking, shutting down, or wondering why certain things affect us more deeply than they should. And sometimes overthinking actually does help, which can make it even harder to stop.

I’m an LCSW specializing in crisis and trauma, with experience supporting neurodivergent people, including those with autism and ADHD. My approach is attachment-based, trauma-informed, collaborative, and practical. My goal is to help you turn insight into meaningful change. If that resonates, I’d be glad to connect.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe therapy works best when we start with where the client is and build from there, rather than trying to fit every person into a particular treatment model. I aim to create a space where clients can show up as they are, feel understood, and develop greater awareness of themselves and their patterns.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you’re hoping will change, and what has or hasn’t been helpful for you in the past. I’ll also ask questions about your relationships, experiences, strengths, and the things that may be affecting you now.

There’s no expectation that you have everything figured out before coming in. You can share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with, and we can move at a pace that feels manageable.
