Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Austin and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado. I am fully licensed as of July 2026 but prior to this, I have worked in both outpatient and correctional settings as a provisionally licensed counselor and intern. I work with clients 18+ with presenting issues including depression, anxiety, grief, and more to improve areas such as emotion regulation and distress tolerance. I also enjoy working with those in the LGBTQIA+ community and am a member of the community myself!

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is intended to be as warm and non-judgmental as possible. My goal is to meet you where you are at and foster a sense of empowerment to make positive change within your life. I am also a strong proponent of open communication and feedback and want to continue to check in about how you feel therapy is going throughout our time working together.

What you can expect from me

In a first session, I strive to create a friendly and open-minded interaction where I can learn about what is bringing you to therapy and what goals you have for treatment. I love to incorporate some humor and chat about your interests and hobbies as well to balance out what might feel heavier and truly get to know you as a person.
