Great to meet you!

I believe people deserve to feel understood before they’re asked to change. My approach to therapy is direct and collaborative. I work primarily with men and couples who feel stuck in patterns of conflict, disconnection, defensiveness, or shutting down, and want to better understand themselves and the people they care about.

My approach to therapy

I’m not interested in simply telling you what you “should” do. Instead, we’ll work together to understand what’s underneath the patterns that keep showing up, build practical ways to respond differently, and create meaningful change in your relationships and everyday life. My goal is for therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest, feel understood, and still be challenged to grow.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin making sense of what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about what’s been going on, the important relationships and experiences in your life, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together.

You don’t need to come in knowing exactly what to say or where to start. My goal is to make the conversation feel comfortable and natural while helping us identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer sense of what you’d like to work toward and how therapy can help you get there.
