Great to meet you!

You’ve spent years pushing through the fear and trying to keep it together.

You may have learned how to manage it, stay busy, think things through, or avoid situations that feel uncomfortable. From the outside, it might look like you’re doing well. But inside, it still feels like a struggle.

A conversation, a tone of voice, or a moment of disconnection can leave you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or shut down. You may replay what happened, question yourself, or wish you had responded differently.

Over time, this can start to impact different areas of your life. You might find it hard to trust yourself, feel confident in relationships, speak up, or follow through on things that matter to you. You may feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, or holding yourself back.

Many of the people I work with are carrying the impact of trauma, childhood wounds, or difficult experiences like emotional neglect, criticism, rejection, or feeling unseen. Even now, these experiences can shape how you see yourself and how you move through the world.

I help clients understand and work through these deeper patterns so they can feel more grounded, more confident, and more able to respond in ways that actually reflect who they are now.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each person. My approach is grounded in EMDR therapy, which helps your brain and body process experiences that are still affecting you in the present.

Rather than only talking through things, we focus on how those experiences are held in your nervous system, your beliefs, and your emotional responses. This allows for deeper change, not just temporary relief.

I work at a pace that feels safe and manageable. You will not be pushed to go faster than you are ready for. Therapy is collaborative, and we focus on what feels most important to you.

The goal is not to fix you, but to help you understand what you have been carrying and create space for new ways of responding, feeling, and relating to yourself.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a space to begin getting to know each other and to understand what has been bringing you in.

You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable. We will talk about what you have been experiencing, what feels most important right now, and what you are hoping for from therapy.

I will also explain how I work, including EMDR, and answer any questions you have.

Most importantly, the first session is about helping you feel a sense of safety and connection. There is no pressure to go into difficult experiences right away. We move at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.
