Autumn Brown

I specialize in working with clients who struggle with trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health needs or concerns. I have extensive history working with women, students, and those with a dual diagnosis. I have worked for an inpatient treatment facility with women struggling with addiction, children, students, domestic violence victims, pregnant women, MAT patients, and trauma survivors. My last few years, I have worked in a private practice and narrowed in on my specializations.

I like to meet clients where they are at and treat them as the expert of their own life by using a holistic, trauma informed, and direct approach. I use an eclectic style in session, using therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and EMDR. We will come up with a plan specific to meet your personal goals in therapy!

The first session will feel a little bit like an interview as I really like to gather full history and symptoming from my clients. We'll then spend some time building a relationship and rapport as I prioritize authenticity with my clients. I have an eclectic counseling approach and typically pull interventions from therapies like CBT, DBT, EMDR, MI, solution-focused, and client-centered!
