Hello! It's great to meet you. I'm Autumn Halliwell, a psychotherapist and clinical social worker. I work with clients who are facing significant life changes, experiencing mood disorders, working through trauma and its impact, or just need some help finding some insight in the moment. I identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+, kink, and polyamorous communities.
I seek to create a comfortably challenging, you-centered environment in therapy. We will use a range of therapeutic techniques from journaling and narrative to body-based experiences to help you create clarity in your life.
I am for you to leave each or our sessions feeling mindfully empowered. During our first session, we will create some goals to work toward together. We will also talk about how we will monitor progress towards those goals, whether it's through clinical questionnaires or some other measure we decide together. We will check on the direction of our work throughout the therapy process and adjust as needed. Your feedback is always welcome.
