Great to meet you!

I have been in the field for 8 years. I have been licensed for 5 years as an LPC in Pennsylvania and Georgia. I like to work with all ages and provide a vast amount of different therapies, such as motivational, mindfulness, CBT, ACT, and more. I value multiculturalism and incorporating diverse skills to assist all clients during our time together.

My therapeutic style is transparent, collaborative, holistic, and eclectic, with an emphasis on building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and mutual respect. I believe therapy should provide clients with a safe and supportive environment where they feel heard, understood, and comfortable being authentic while also being encouraged to grow.

Since I work with a variety of individuals, families, and couples, I take a holistic approach by considering the whole person and exploring how emotional, behavioral, relational, environmental, and other life experiences may contribute to a client’s current concerns. Because every client is unique, I utilize an eclectic approach, integrating interventions and techniques from different therapeutic modalities based on the individual’s needs, goals, personality, and presenting concerns rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

My approach to therapy

A significant part of my approach is helping clients continue their growth outside of the therapy room. When appropriate, I provide homework, reflection exercises, coping strategies, journaling prompts, or other practical activities that allow clients to apply what they discuss in session to their everyday lives. I view therapy as a collaborative process in which meaningful change can occur both during and between sessions.

I value transparency and honesty within the therapeutic relationship. I strive to be supportive and compassionate while also being direct when necessary. I believe that effective therapy involves not only validating clients’ experiences but also respectfully challenging them to examine patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may be preventing them from moving forward. My goal is to challenge clients in a way that feels constructive and empowering rather than judgmental.

I also incorporate humor when appropriate, as I believe that moments of genuine laughter can help create connection, reduce tension, and make the therapeutic process feel more natural and approachable. At the same time, I recognize the importance of knowing when humor is appropriate and ensuring that it never minimizes or invalidates a client’s experiences.

Ultimately, my goal is to develop a genuine therapeutic relationship in which clients feel supported, respected, challenged, and empowered. I want clients to know that they do not have to navigate their challenges alone, while also helping them recognize their own strengths, develop effective tools, increase self-awareness, and take an active role in their personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a transparent, comfortable environment to begin planning for treatment goals. I strive to provide a welcoming and collaborative space for clients to feel safe to work through therapy goals as a team. We will get to know each other and how the therapeutic process will work moving forward if we believe we are a good fit.
