Hello! I'm Dr. Autumn, a licensed psychologist. I enjoy working with individuals struggling with identity, trauma, relationship concerns, and symptoms of anxiety or depression. I am an LGBTQ, nonbinary, and poly affirming therapist.
I value authenticity and humor in my connections with clients, and believe a strong positive alliance between myself and my clients is what fosters trust and hope.
I believe therapy is flexible and should be a collaborative process between my clients and myself. I help clients explore important patterns in their life to better understand and accept themselves and their emotions, and build effective coping skills.
Our first session will be all about getting to know each other, I will ask plenty of questions, but it's also your chance to ask me questions. We will talk about what works for you in therapy and what doesn't, and begin to identify goals.
I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients built on trust, humor, and authenticity. I believe this connection is what makes the therapeutic environment feel safe, calming, and affirming.
