Great to meet you!

Hello! I am Autumn, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in Counseling and over 9 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. I have a special passion for working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships/friendships, identity, school, and the many adjustments that come with growing up. My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based, with experience supporting gifted and twice-exceptional individuals and helping clients better understand themselves and the way they learn and experience the world.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, and tailored to each client rather than one-size-fits-all. I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness to help clients build practical skills, tools, and better understanding and capacity of their emotions.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will get to know each other and what brings you to therapy. You don't need to have everything figured out, and there's no pressure to share anything you are not ready to share. Together, we will talk about your strengths, challenges, and goals and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and helpful. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, welcomed, and comfortable being yourself as we figure out what support will be most helpful for you.
