Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in therapy for men and men's issues. I work with adults, teens, and preteens dealing with anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, emotional struggles, and questions of identity and purpose. My background in counseling, education, and mentorship has shaped a warm, down-to-earth approach where clients can feel comfortable being themselves and talking openly about what's going on.

My approach to therapy

I believe our emotions, reactions, and patterns usually make more sense when we understand where they come from. I help clients better understand themselves, approach themselves with less judgment, and develop practical tools for handling life's challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the client's values, combining deeper exploration with practical strategies for change. I draw from approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), humanistic, and psychodynamic therapy. This can include exploring emotions, relationships, values, meaning, and spirituality.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy and what you'd like to be different. You don't need to come in knowing exactly what to say or even exactly what you want to work on. We'll start making sense of things together and identify where it would be most helpful to begin.
