Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (New York and Maryland) and a Staff Clinician at the Center for Anxiety. I earned my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at Johns Hopkins University and completed Dialectical Behavior Therapy foundational training. I've worked with high school students in Baltimore's public schools, with pre-teens in residential treatment (individual, group and family sessions), with clients at home and in school through community-based care, and now in outpatient therapy, where I also run a weekly DBT group. I've always enjoyed connecting with people, and I'm honored to build a relationship with each of my clients.

My approach to therapy

One of my favorite sayings is "joy shared is doubled and sorrow shared is halved." I believe each client knows themselves best, and I support you in building a life with a real sense of agency and satisfaction, despite life's imperfections. I'm a person-centered clinician who draws on CBT, DBT and solution-focused tools, working from your strengths and offering hope as you take steps toward your goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other. I'll ask what brings you in, what you'd like to change and what has or hasn't helped before. You'll leave with a shared sense of your goals, a first plan for how we'll work toward them, and plenty of room for your questions. Sessions are held by video.
