Avraham Fisgus

Hi, I’m Avraham Fisgus, a psychiatric nurse practitioner serving clients in Central New Jersey. I earned my BSN from New Jersey City University and my MSN from Chamberlain University, and I have clinical training across a variety of settings and age groups. I enjoy working with patients to help them move toward their personal goals and their own vision for mental health. My approach is warm, collaborative, and judgment-free, with treatment plans tailored to your needs, values, and life.

I work with clients in a collaborative, and judgment-free way. Together, we create realistic, evidence-based treatment plans that feel practical, understandable, and aligned with your goals. I believe treatment works best when you feel involved in the process and can truly buy into the plan. My focus is on helping you feel heard, supported, and empowered as we work toward your vision for your mental health.

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space where we take time to understand what brought you in and what you hope to work toward. We’ll talk about your symptoms, history, strengths, concerns, and goals so we can see the full picture. My approach is to break problems down one by one while also looking at how everything connects. Together, we’ll begin building a realistic, evidence-based treatment plan that supports your overall mental health goals.
