Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship concerns, disabilities, and neurodivergence.

My doctoral focus was in educational psychology, cross cultural communication, and equity studies, so I take an intersectional approach, am experienced with marginalized populations (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabilities, etc.), and welcome different lifestyles. I am also happy to support individuals in need of gender affirming care and advocacy work.

My approach to therapy

I help by developing an understanding of your experiences, your perspectives, and your goals. Together, we build on strengths, identify challenges, and gently shift thoughts and actions to align with what you want for yourself.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, we will get to know each other and determine if it’s a good fit. During this time, we will discuss a shared understanding of your concerns, develop goals, and identify a plan moving forward. I often present alternative treatment options as well because I want people to make the best decision for themselves even if it’s not with me. Some have only needed a few sessions to meet their goal, or preferred to not discuss childhood etc, so treatment is tailored to your needs.
