Great to meet you!

I am a passionate and experienced mental health professional with over a decade of hands-on leadership and clinical experience in behavioral counseling, addiction treatment, public health, and community advocacy.

My background includes managing mental health services in correctional institutions, courts, outpatient clinics, and nonprofit programs serving vulnerable and justice-involved populations.

My approach to therapy

I bring a solution-focused, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach to care. I see therapy as a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and reconnect with the person you want to be. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I’ll meet you where you are while also helping you identify patterns, challenge what may be holding you back, and create meaningful change.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor our work to your goals, personality, and needs. We’ll explore the deeper “why” behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while also focusing on practical tools you can use in everyday life.

My goal is for therapy to feel both supportive and purposeful: a space where you can be fully yourself, gain clarity about what you need, and leave with greater confidence in your ability to navigate life, relationships, and challenges.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that first step feel comfortable and welcoming. In our first session, you can expect a warm, judgment-free space where you can share what’s been weighing on you at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you hope to change or better understand, and the goals that are most meaningful to you.

Together, we’ll begin creating a personalized path forward, one that helps you feel more grounded, empowered, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. We’ll take it one step at a time, together.
