Great to meet you!

I’m deeply passionate about helping children, teens, and young adults feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. I work with ages 3 through young adulthood, using developmentally appropriate approaches that make therapy feel safe and engaging rather than intimidating.

Whether your child, teen, or young adult is struggling with big emotions, anxiety, behavior changes, trauma, or self-esteem, my goal is to help them build healthy coping skills and confidence in a space designed just for them.

I value collaboration and see therapy as a team effort. I work closely with parents and caregivers to support progress at home, at school, and in daily life, while also empowering older teens and young adults to take an active role in their growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, client-centered, and evidence-based. I combine play therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, and mindfulness techniques to meet each child, teen, or young adult where they are.

For younger kids, sessions often include play, art, and creative activities that help them express feelings they may not yet have words for. For older kids, teens, and young adults, therapy often focuses more on reflection, skill-building, and developing healthy ways to manage emotions, relationships, and stress.

Above all, I believe connection and trust come first. When we feel emotionally safe, real growth begins.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about comfort and connection. I take time to get to know your child or young adult—their personality, interests, and what brings them to therapy. We go at their pace, whether that means playing, drawing, or talking through what’s been weighing on them, so they can feel at ease.

For parents and caregivers, we review background information, discuss your goals, and talk through any concerns you have. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what therapy will look like and how we’ll work together to support your child or young adult.

My priority is for every client to leave feeling safe, cared for, and hopeful about the process ahead.
