Great to meet you!

You’ve made the first step! It takes courage to seek help and I’m glad you did. It’s hard to let someone in when you are at your most vulnerable and I am sensitive to that. We all deserve kindness and respect and I speak to my patients the way I want to be spoken to. With over ten years of experience in healthcare and board certified as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I maintain a firm belief that life can be enjoyed despite trauma and mental illness. When not treating patients, I enjoy nature, hiking, oil painting, and spending time with family.

My approach to therapy

I’m here to be on your team using a warm, supportive and non-judgmental approach as we create a treatment plan that makes sense to you. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, ADHD, postpartum depression, and women’s health issues.

What you can expect from me

The initial evaluation is one hour in length where we discuss your medical and mental health history, current symptoms, and your treatment goals. When new medication or a dose-adjustment is recommended, weekly follow-up appointments (20-30 minutes) are necessary for 4 to 8 weeks for close monitoring. Once a client is stable on their medication, follow-up appointments may be every 1 to 3 months. The goal of mental health treatment is full remission of symptoms.
