Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience supporting individuals across the lifespan in navigating eating disorders, trauma, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I specialize in working with adults and seniors who are experiencing emotional distress, including the impact of caregiving, chronic stress, and life transitions. I am especially passionate about supporting caregivers of individuals with mental illness and dementia who may be struggling with burnout, grief, compassion fatigue, or a loss of self while caring for others. I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without pressure or judgment. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, blending support and practical tools to help you better understand yourself and what you are going through.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and client-centered where we will work together to identify your goals and begin shaping a direction for therapy that aligns with your needs and values. I tend to be supportive and direct when helpful, offering both validation and gentle challenge as we explore patterns, emotions, and experiences.

You can expect to be met where you are, without pressure to have everything figured out, while we begin building clarity, insight, and a path forward that feels manageable and authentic to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, the focus is on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy, including your current concerns, history, and what you hope to gain from the process. This initial meeting is also a space for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work, so you can decide if it feels like a good fit. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change, and I prioritize creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and non-judgmental.
