Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona with specialized training in trauma treatment, EMDR, and nervous system regulation. I’ve worked with individuals across many settings, including crisis response, community mental health, schools, women’s recovery programs, and trauma-informed care within justice-involved populations. These experiences have shaped my understanding of how trauma impacts the whole person — emotionally, physically, and behaviorally.

I completed my master’s degree in Social Work and hold advanced certification in EMDR, along with additional training in holistic and integrative approaches to healing. I’m currently expanding my expertise in trauma-informed wellness, somatic work, and mind-body practices.

Clients describe me as grounded, validating, and direct when needed. My goal is to offer a safe space where you can understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with your emotional world, and build skills that support long-term resilience and healing.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in helping clients understand how trauma, stress, and long-term coping patterns impact their daily lives. Many of my clients struggle with emotional numbness, overworking, dissociation, unhealthy coping, or feeling disconnected from themselves and others.

My approach blends evidence-based trauma therapy with a holistic understanding of the mind and body. I help clients regulate their nervous system, understand their trauma responses, and move from survival mode into healing.

Clients describe me as calm, present, intuitive, and validating. In our work together, we focus on creating safety, emotional regulation, and long-term change — not quick fixes. Healing is not linear, and I’m here to support you through each phase of your journey.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and grounded. We’ll take time to talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to work toward. I’ll ask thoughtful questions about your history, current stressors, and the patterns you’ve noticed in your emotions or behaviors, but always at your pace, with no pressure to share anything before you’re ready.

I provide a clear structure so you know what to expect. We’ll explore how your nervous system responds to stress, identify the areas you’d like to focus on, and begin building a plan for your treatment. I also introduce practical coping or grounding tools you can start using right away.

Most importantly, the first session is a space for us to get to know each other. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, express any concerns, and get a feel for my approach. By the end, you should have a sense of direction, support, and what our work together can look like moving forward.
