Great to meet you!

As a woman who struggled for decades with anxiety stemming from undiagnosed ADHD, I understand firsthand what it feels like to wonder, "Is there something wrong with me?" This personal experience, combined with nearly 15 years in the mental health field, drives my passion for helping high-achieving, people-pleasing women who feel burned out by chronic stress and overwhelm.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist with specialized training that sets me apart from traditional talk therapy approaches. My credentials include:

  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
  • Registered Dance/Movement Therapist
  • 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification
  • Neuromeditation Institute Certified Coach
  • TrueBearing Neurofeedback Practitioner
  • ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider
  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Level II certification
  • 50-hour Mapping The Breath certification

I specialize in working with adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety, and trauma, particularly women who feel like they've "tried everything" but haven't found lasting relief. Many of my clients are professionals who appear successful on the outside but are internally battling racing thoughts, overwhelm, and the exhausting cycle of people-pleasing behaviors.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in the understanding that your body holds the key to your healing. I use a science-backed, body-centered method that integrates movement, somatic techniques, and neuroscience research. Rather than traditional talk therapy alone, I help clients learn to retrain their nervous system and brain to respond differently to stress.

My framework follows three phases: Learn, Experiment, and Integrate. First, we explore your unique experience through the five building blocks of experience: thoughts, perception, inner sensation, emotion, and movement. Then we experiment with different body-centered coping skills tailored to your nervous system's specific needs. Finally, we integrate these tools so you can confidently manage challenges independently.

I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities including Dance/Movement Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and cutting-edge neurofeedback technology. While movement is often central to our work, I always meet clients where they are - sometimes our sessions involve traditional talk therapy or seated somatic interventions, depending on what serves you best in the moment.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help you feel better from day one, with progress you can both measure and feel. Unlike traditional therapy that can take years, my structured approach helps clients see meaningful results in months, not years.

You'll learn practical, body-centered tools to:

  • Calm your nervous system in real-time when anxiety strikes
  • Understand and work with your ADHD brain rather than against it
  • Break free from limiting beliefs developed after years of being misunderstood
  • Develop a more loving and compassionate relationship with your body
  • Master executive functioning skills through nervous system regulation

Most importantly, you'll discover that there's nothing wrong with you - you just needed the right tools for your unique nervous system. By the end of our work together, you'll have everything you need to tackle future obstacles with confidence, having learned to trust your body's wisdom and your own inner expertise.

I believe you are the expert of your own experience; I'm simply here as your guide with respect, curiosity, and collaboration.
