Great to meet you!

I work with adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and major life transitions. Much of my experience comes from community-based and advocacy-focused settings, including domestic violence services and youth programs, where safety, trust, and empowerment are central. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen as whole people, not just their symptoms, and where therapy feels supportive, collaborative, and respectful of each person’s lived experience.

My approach to therapy

My approach is a mix of things, including trauma-informed, strengths-based, all rooted in compassion. I blend psychoeducation, skill-building, mindfulness, and processing to help clients better understand their emotions, patterns, and nervous systems while also building practical tools for everyday life. I place a strong emphasis on emotional regulation, executive functioning, boundaries, and values-based living. I also practice with cultural humility and an awareness of how systemic stress, trauma, and relational experiences impact mental health. Therapy with me is collaborative, paced intentionally, and tailored to your goals.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on connection, safety, and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, concerns, and what you’re hoping to gain from this space, without pressure to share more than you’re ready for. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, explain how therapy with me typically works, and make room for any questions you have. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, grounded, and clearer about next steps, knowing this is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out.
