Great to meet you!
"Feeling Overwhelmed? You Don’t Have to Carry It Alone.
Working in veterinary care, animal rescue, education, or first response can be deeply rewarding—but also emotionally exhausting. The bonds you form, the losses you witness, and the weight of responsibility can take a toll. If you’re feeling drained, grieving, or struggling with the emotional demands of your work, you’re not alone. It’s okay to seek support, and I’m here to help.
I am Azra Grudic, an independently licensed social worker with extensive experience working with survivors of trauma and first responders. I’m passionate about animal welfare and volunteer for a local animal rescue. Working in this field, I understand the turmoil of working and volunteering in veterinary and animal rescue, and the impact of vicarious trauma that spreads into both professional and personal life. I love supporting professionals and volunteers in this field, including wildlife rescue.
