Great to meet you!

Hi I am Babayemi "Yemi" Aiyegbo, a licensed clinical social worker. I want you to be healthy. I have many years of experience serving people and communities. My interests include how mental health impacts your wellbeing, client centered development, and utilizing strengths. When I'm not helping others, I enjoy creating digital music, being outdoors, traveling, and watching films.

My approach to therapy

When working with me, we can approach problems with warmth and cultural awareness. I can blend solution focused skills with a calm, down‐to‐earth style that helps you feel about safe opening up.

What you can expect from me

In a first session with me, you can expect a relaxed, affirming space where we move at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you. I’ll ask some gentle questions about your background, what you’ve been dealing with, and what you hope might be different. We will also check in on safety and any immediate stressors. Soon we’ll then start to name a few goals together. I’ll explain how I work: collaborative, with the aim to be culturally aware, and down‐to‐earth—so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and what our work together can look like.
