Great to meet you!
Mental health is an important piece in achieving a strong well-being. To achieve this, we all need a supportive and nonjudgmental space where people can openly discuss their concerns and goals. This is the environment that I aim to create as your psychiatrist.
My approach emphasizes thoughtful evaluation, evidence-based treatment, and building a collaborative therapeutic relationship with each patient. I believe treatment works best when patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions regarding their care. I believe that when patients trust their provider, it creates a stronger therapeutic relationship that can lead to better treatment outcomes. My treatment approach may include medication management, supportive therapy, and coordination with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
I completed my medical training and residency in psychiatry in New Jersey and have experience caring for individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am a board-certified psychiatrist with experience working in high-acuity and state hospital settings, where I collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Regarding said patient care, I have treated adults across a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, psychotic disorders, and complex psychiatric presentations. I work with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, stress-related conditions, sleep concerns, and other mental health challenges.
I value clear communication, professionalism, and individualized care, recognizing that every patient's experiences and needs are unique. I am committed to providing care that is tailored to each individual's specific circumstances, preferences, and goals.
I currently do not prescribe controlled substances or provide disability evaluations or related services.
