Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for helping individuals build healthier and more fulfilling lives. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and my Master’s degree in Counseling from California State University, Northridge (CSUN).

I was drawn to this work because I believe in the power of healing relationships and the resilience people carry within them, even in their hardest moments. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship stress, parenting difficulties, and trauma. I approach each client with respect, compassion, and curiosity, honoring the unique story they bring to therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy should be a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), tailoring treatment to meet each client’s specific needs and goals.

I see therapy as a partnership — I bring clinical expertise, but you bring lived experience and inner strengths. Together, we’ll work on understanding patterns, developing new tools, and fostering resilience so you can create meaningful and lasting change in your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, strengths, and current challenges, and together we’ll begin identifying your goals for therapy.

This session is not about rushing into solutions, but about building a foundation of trust and clarity. Many clients leave their first session with a sense of relief — feeling heard, understood, and supported — and with a clearer idea of how therapy can help them move toward meaningful change.
