Great to meet you!

In my work, I care deeply about creating a space where people feel safe to be real, messy, and human, about demonstrating to clients that there is room to learn to practice self-compassion and finding joy even in the toughest moments. I implement techniques from Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My approach to therapy

Sessions with me are honest, thoughtful, and usually a little bit silly; laughter is one of the best medicines there is! I often utilize a direct, relational approach with clients. My approach is influenced by my interests in attachment, the significance of early childhood and the family of origin, and the importance of strengths-based care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My main priority is getting to know you—not just what brought you in, but what matters to you and what life looks like on your good days and bad ones. I'll ask questions to better understand your goals, your history, and what you're hoping will shift through our work together. We'll also complete a couple of brief assessments so we can track your growth over time.
