Great to meet you!

My therapeutic style is attentive and warm. I have an eclectic therapeutic approach which allows me to tailor my approach to your specific needs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Level 2 IFS Therapist. I have also been trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). The variety of training helps me offer evidence-based support that leads to clients discovery of their inner strengths, inner resources, and healing from past pain.

My approach to therapy

If you’ve been experiencing ongoing anxiety or depressive symptoms, you may feel like you’re simply trying to get through each day while wondering if things can actually feel different. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, and I want you to feel comfortable being your authentic self without judgment. I incorporate my training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you better understand the different parts of yourself, where they come from, and how healing your inner child can create meaningful change in the present. Together, we’ll explore the experiences and patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building greater self-compassion, emotional awareness, and resilience. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you can reconnect with yourself, heal old wounds, and develop a deeper sense of peace and confidence in who you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. During this intake assessment, we’ll talk about your current concerns, your experiences and history, your strengths, and the areas of your life where you’d like to see meaningful change. We’ll work together to identify your goals for therapy and develop a treatment plan that reflects what you want to accomplish. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions, share what you need from your therapist, and get a sense of whether our therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit. Most importantly, there’s no expectation that you have everything figured out before you begin—we’ll take the process one step at a time, together.
