Great to meet you!

I’m an LCSW. I really enjoy getting to know my clients and building a strong therapeutic relationship with them. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, sense of self, and also high achievers. Many things can stir up emotions, past experiences and trauma. My goal is to help you understand and work through those experiences and feelings. I'll help you reconnect with your inner strength and resilience, moving past the painful experiences that may be holding you back. I can support you in letting go of negative self-views, reducing your levels of distress, and building a renewed sense of confidence, worth, and peace. This process is about helping you both heal and rediscover the core strengths and values that make you, you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Therapy can help reduce the effects of anxiety, stress, loss/grief, traumatic experiences across the lifespan, and life changes. I combine different methods to best meet your needs such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Ego States, Sandtray, and expressive arts. I’m a firm believer that therapy is what you need it to be. I can help you work through what you need to work through and handle life’s daily challenges. We’ll work together at your pace, using approaches that fit you best, to help you feel stronger, more aware of yourself, and more in control of your life.

What you can expect from our first session

I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to express themselves authentically. My sessions are client-centered, meaning I tailor our work to meet your unique needs while fostering trust and collaboration. Working with me feels supportive, encouraging, and empowering—like having a safe space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges while receiving guidance and tools to help you grow and heal.

I approach goal setting collaboratively, ensuring the process is guided by your values and priorities. Together, we explore what brought you to therapy, identify the changes you hope to see, and transform those goals into manageable, achievable steps. I believe in setting flexible, realistic goals that can evolve as you grow and gain insight throughout the therapeutic process. My role is to support and empower you, helping to track progress and adjust goals as needed to align with your personal journey.
