Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Barbara, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I’m here to support you in your healing journey—whether you're navigating past trauma, going through a tough transition, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply.

I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and work with teens (13+) and adults. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in compassion. I specialize in trauma-informed care and strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected.

I received my degree in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver and have worked in both community mental health and private practice settings. I use a mix of evidence-based tools—like trauma-focused CBT, mindfulness, and somatic practices—tailored to meet your unique needs and pace.

My goal is to walk alongside you with curiosity, kindness, and trust, helping you reconnect with your strengths and move toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I believe healing happens in safe, trusting relationships, so I focus on creating a space where you feel truly seen and heard. I take a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach, tailoring our work to fit your unique story, strengths, and goals.

I often bring in tools from trauma-focused CBT, mindfulness, and body-based practices to help you feel more grounded and connected.

What you can expect from me

In our time together, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where you don’t have to filter or explain every part of who you are. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, grounded, and just a little lighter.

We’ll work at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you—whether that’s healing from past pain, navigating life changes, or simply getting to know yourself more deeply. Over time, my hope is for my clients to begin to feel more confident, more connected, and more at peace.
