Hello my name is Barbara. I hold my Masters Degree in Clinician Mental Health Counseling I have 8 years of experience and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state Colorado. My experience is with children, adolescents and adults. I have received specialized training in autism, adhd, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship issues.
My counseling style is warm, compassionate and interactive. I view counseling as a compassionate and collaborative process where we work together, therefore you no longer have to walk this journey alone. I also strive to create a climate of empathetic understanding fostering the ability to express your emotions free of of judgment. By providing an affirming experience promoting positive change that is established through goals and treatment plans that reflect your desired outcome.
When working with clients, I work to provide a safe space where each individual can feel seen, heard, and understood. I journey alongside individuals to help identify their strengths and weaknesses and to build a treatment plan and goals that will address each individual's needs as they navigate the healing processes.
