Great to meet you!

I believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to be heard and understood. With nearly three decades of experience, I bring compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help clients navigate life’s challenges. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel difficult, and I want my clients to know that they do not have to face those challenges alone. I meet each person where they are and respect their unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and focused on helping you create meaningful and lasting change. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based strategies, Motivational Interviewing, and problem-solving techniques. Together, we will explore the challenges you are experiencing, identify patterns that may be getting in the way, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you feel more confident and emotionally resilient. I believe therapy should be a partnership, and your goals and priorities will guide our work together.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope to accomplish. I will also learn more about your background, strengths, relationships, and current circumstances so I can better understand your individual needs. You do not need to have everything figured out before our first session. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and respected while we begin identifying ways therapy can support you.
