Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia with over 25 years of experience providing therapy services for depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use issues, bipolar disorder, as well as life stressors and related issues. I completed my Master's degree in Social Work at Adelphi University and postmaster training at Fordham University.

My approach to therapy

I approach my clients with genuine interest, concern, and compassion, utilizing a solutions-focused approach with an emphasis on emotions, thoughts, and behaviors to address issues. By incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and evidence-based approaches, along with mindfulness skill development, my sessions are empowering for clients.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a process of engagement and understanding for both the client and the clinician.

My skills at engagement are displayed through my genuine concern and investment in your success to resolve the issues causing barriers in your life. My energetic and positive outlook will help increase your comfort throughout the therapeutic process.
