Great to meet you!

Barbara completed her M.S. of Science in 2014. She is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who enjoys meeting with adolescents and adults for the treatment of mood, anxiety, relationship problems and trauma, among others. My goal is to help you explore the issues you struggle with, formulate attainable and realistic goals for you to achieve a steady and gradual recovery with the application of humanistic, solution and trauma- focused interventions.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to take my clients from point A to point C. Point A= problem identification and goal setting. Point B= emotional baggage removal through the application of humanistic, solution, and trauma- focused approaches. Point C= maintenance of progress, recovery, and termination of services.

In other words: I specialize in bringing my clients from the pit of despair to rising peaks of success!

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect a compassionate, warm, respectful, empathetic, and safe therapeutic environment where your thoughts are explored and challenged, meaningful questions are asked, and treatment goals are formulated through the utilization of evidence- based interventions, for you to gain insight, experience a breakthrough, and move forward in life.
