Great to meet you!

Hi! I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a professional background as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). I specialize in psychiatry/mental health assessments, evaluations, diagnosis & treatment plans. I welcome anyone who needs help/support ages 10 y/o, adolescents, adults, & seniors!

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, comprehensive & individualized. Hey, lets face it; no two people are alike, so won't get a "one size fits all" approach from me. I ask my patients to engage & become part of the solution & I like to make decisions together whenever possible! I also educate people that medications are only one "part" of the solution. People have to work on the "things" they need to; such as you will only feel better if you are participating in your treatments & interventions.

What you can expect from me

Patients can expect for me to explain things to them in a language they can understand. I enjoy providing education & counseling; pushing people to believe in themself! I enjoy motivating people & letting them know I believe in him/her. I like to "teach" patients about "why" we are going to try X, Y, OR Z (versus just telling someone what to do..). Once people spend time with me, most can feel my energy of care & compassion. Patient leave feeling supported.
