Welcome! I am Baroness Butler a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing virtually in Virginia. I earned my master's degree from Norfolk State University in 2019, and from there I began to work in community mental health. I have experience providing in home intensive therapy, medical trauma social work, in-patient psychiatry (behavioral health), talk therapy for adolescents and adults, and group facilitation.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client centered and holistic; I meet you where you are and lean on your innate wisdom and understanding to help actualize your growth. I do approach therapy with the idea in mind that all of us have different needs and are at different stages in life.

What you can expect from me

Clients will leave session feeling heard and validated with their goals at the forefront but also leave with an understanding that self-discovery is a journey and its okay to keep working on something until it feels comfortable.
