Great to meet you!

There are times in life when the questions we face differ from those we've faced before. Maybe you are approaching retirement and wondering who you will be when work is no longer such a large part of your identity. Maybe your relationship with your adult children is changing, or you are caring for an aging parent while noticing changes in yourself. You may be grieving the loss of a spouse, partner, friend, or pet, living alone for the first time, or facing changes in your body, memory, or independence. As an LCSW-R, I offer therapy to adults 50 and older navigating these transitions. These experiences deserve to be talked about.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in the belief that aging is not one experience, and there is no single right way to grow older. Each person brings their own history and strengths to this stage of life. Together we slow down and ask what a meaningful life looks like now: redefining purpose after retirement, coping with loss, or adjusting to a changing role with family. I utilize different modalities including Cognitive Behavioral, Brief therapy, Narrative therapy and eclectic therapy

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect an introduction, assessment of your needs and goals, as well as an understanding of how we will meet your goals. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
