Great to meet you!

I believe everyone is capable of being comfortable with who they are, and we all have the potential to become who we want to be. My path to counseling has been unique: I have served in law enforcement, foster care prevention, and ordained pastoral ministry. Supported by my degrees in ministry and counseling, this diverse background in law enforcement, social services, and Christian ministry deeply informs my humanistic, holistic approach to caring for the whole person.

My approach to therapy

Throughout my career, I’ve gained extensive experience in addiction and group counseling, trauma-informed care, marital and relationship skill building, parent-child conflict, couples and individual counseling, and child and adolescent therapy. With specialized training in trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and brain pathways, I help clients navigate challenges in relationships, parenting, work, and mental health. I strongly believe that unresolved trauma, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders are common experiences that no one should ever feel ashamed of.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, I blend spiritual principles with clinically proven techniques through a person-centered, reality-based, and solution-focused approach. I am direct, I will challenge you, and I will walk alongside you to help you get to where you want to be. Using a narrative approach and thoughtful self-disclosure, I build authentic connections with my clients. I’ll get to know you, you will get to know me, and together, we will reach your goals.
