Great to meet you!

I’m an LCSW who genuinely cares about the people I work with. I’m warm and easy to talk to, and also direct when it’s helpful so you don’t feel stuck staying in the same patterns. My focus is helping you feel understood while also giving you tools you can use in your day-to-day life.

My passion is in Maternal Mental Health. I am a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C) who focuses on supporting new moms as they navigate all the changes and shifts that come with motherhood. I understand the emotional rollercoaster, the mom guilt, the exhaustion, and how overwhelming it can feel to adjust to a new version of yourself while caring for a baby. You don’t have to have it all figured out. I’m here to support you through the process, help you make sense of what you’re feeling, and find your footing in this new chapter.

My approach to therapy

I’m an active therapist, so I won’t just sit back and listen. I’ll ask questions, help you make connections, gently challenge you when needed, and give you practical tools to use outside of our sessions. I draw from CBT and DBT while tailoring therapy to what you need and what you’re going through.

For new moms, therapy may also include working through the emotional adjustment to motherhood, anxiety, mom guilt, identity shifts, relationship changes, or a difficult or traumatic birth experience. Wherever you’re starting from, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, feel more confident handling your emotions, and create changes that carry into your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you in and what’s been feeling most difficult lately. I’ll ask questions to understand your experiences and patterns, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.

We’ll also start exploring what you want to get out of therapy and begin identifying goals so we can see what working together might look like and whether we feel like a good fit.

You’re welcome to ask me questions as well about how I work and what therapy will look like over time.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction and next steps, along with a supportive space where you feel heard and not judge
