Great to meet you!

I am a double board-certified nurse practitioner in family and psychiatric practice. I have been in practice since 2015, initially in family practice. I worked for a few years in a community health care clinic with patients from underserved populations. I became aware that my patients have complex medical healthcare problems and often have severe mental illnesses that were not treated. I realized that I needed to add a psychiatric specialty to become a competent psychiatric provider.

My approach to therapy

I completed my psychiatric degree from the University of St. Francis. After graduation, I started to work with the underserved population again. I continue working with patients who need me the most. My diverse background gives me a well-rounded perspective on the treatment of a whole person. I am convinced that it was the best decision in my life to add a psychiatric specialty to my curriculum as it became my favorite.

What you can expect from me

I am amazed how current treatment options allow my patients to live and function well in the family, at work, and the community. I believe in treatment and recovery. I see amazing transformations every day that allows my patients to lead productive, peaceful, and balanced lives.
