Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges, emotional difficulties, and personal growth. My experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, mood disorders, and substance use concerns.

I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. My passion is helping individuals recognize their strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting changes. I strive to meet each client where they are, recognizing that everyone's journey toward healing and personal growth is unique.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I incorporate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care, tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs and goals.

I focus on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools to manage stress, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and build self-confidence. I believe in focusing not only on challenges but also on strengths, resilience, and opportunities for growth. Together, we will work toward creating positive changes that extend beyond our therapy sessions and into everyday life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is to create a welcoming, comfortable, and judgment-free environment where you can feel safe sharing your experiences and concerns. We will take time to get to know each other, explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your personal history, and identify the goals you would like to work toward.

There is no pressure to share everything at once. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will also explain what to expect from the therapeutic process and answer any questions you may have. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the steps ahead.
