I am a nurse practitioner with over 20years experience in psychiatric mental health. I am board certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner across life span. I completed my advanced Graduate Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. My area of specialization includes treatment of Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Posttraumatic disorder (PTSD), Sleep issues and medication management.
. I partner with the client in achieving their health care goals by using a patient centered approach in developing individualized treatment plans of care. I ensure that my client have access to the medication and the resource that is effective in the treatment of their illness.
The first session I will learn about my client and their health concern. The First session usually lasted about 60 minutes. I will encouraged my client to bring all their medications, both prescribed and over the counter. I will encouraged my client to bring any information from the past and current treatment as this is essential to their care. We will discuss the reason for seeking care and develop an individualized plan to achieve their goal.
