Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Chicago, Illinois, dedicated to helping teens, adults, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and respect.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, self-harm behaviors, suicidal ideation, substance use challenges, low self-esteem, severe and persistent mental health conditions, and a variety of cultural and life stressors. I am particularly passionate about working with Latino and Hispanic individuals and families, helping to address the stigma and cultural barriers that can make seeking mental health support difficult.

Whether you are seeking support for a specific concern or looking to better understand yourself and your experiences, I am committed to walking alongside you on your path toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based interventions to help clients develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional well-being, build resilience, and enhance their overall quality of life. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I strive to bring warmth, authenticity, and, when appropriate, humor into the therapeutic relationship. Building trust and genuine connection is important to me, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them overcome obstacles, navigate life's transitions, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

For your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we begin getting to know one another. My goal is to understand your unique experiences, concerns, strengths, and what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life.

During our initial meeting, we will discuss any goals you hope to achieve through therapy. We'll also explore what has and hasn't worked for you in the past, identify your strengths, and develop a better understanding of how I can best support you.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, so we'll work together to create a plan that feels comfortable and meaningful to you. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels safe and appropriate for your needs.
